Year 7 Girls @ RFU ‘Love Rugby’ Event
Congratulations to the girls who represented the College recently at Exeter College’s Exwick Sports Hub for the RFU ‘Love Rugby’ event.
The rescheduled event from February saw 14 girls take part in a carousel of fun activities to improve skill and team work, culminating in a touch rugby tournament in the afternoon based upon the recently launched T1 programme from the RFU to engage more young people in a non-contact version of the game.
All of the girls were outstanding representatives of the College, on and off the pitch, in very warm conditions and had a thoroughly entertaining day. The aim for the girls is now to find a local rugby club to train and play at to further develop their passion and enjoyment of the game.
