Y7, 8 & 10 Boys Rugby @ Blundells School

Congratulations to all of the boys who represented the College on Wednesday at Blundells School, Tiverton. 51 students, made up of the Year 7, 8 and 10 squads all travelled by coach to Mid Devon for the annual fixture, where the hosts always look after us with great hospitality.

Mr Stapleton accompanied the Year 7 lads to the lower pitch where they suffered their first defeat of the season with a 25-5 defeat against a very well renowned Blundells sides that have beaten many other private and public schools by many more scores than what we suffered.

Mr Pearce was with the unbeaten Year 8 boys who carried on this record since their time with us with a resounding 35-10 victory against the hosts, with another powerful and ahtletic display.

Mr Rees-Weldon and Year 12 student, Josh Jones, was with the ever polite and courteous Year 10 squad as they played over the hedge and had their hosts on the ropes for for large periods of the game, however Blundells bolstered their squad for the last few minutes and ran out narrow winners, by 9 points.

A big well done and thank you to all of the students which represented and were a credit to the College once again.
