Clyst Vale Donate to the RNLI – Exmouth

Our wonderful post 16 students raised a total of £242.70 on Harry Patch Day (22nd September) 2024.

We have some star bakers in year 12 and 13 and they worked so hard to produce some amazing cakes.

We always raise money on Harry Patch Day for the RNLI, which was his favourite charity. On Wednesday 23rd October Mr Powell drove the school minibus, with 13 students from years 12 and 13 to Exmouth RNLI. We were greeted by RNLI volunteer Ian Rick and some of the lifeboat crew.

We handed over the £242.70p raised on Harry Patch day. Millie and Nina Page had made cup cakes (with blue icing and the RNLI logo) and Josh Jones had made chocolate brownies. As Wednesday night is crew training night at Exmouth these sweet treats were very well received.

Many thanks to all of our post 16 bakers, all of our customers on the day, and to all of our Harry Patch Day supporters.
