Post 16 Parliament Trip

On Monday 5th February 12 of our Post 16 students joined me on a fantastic trip to Westminster.

We had a tour of Parliament booked through the UK Parliament Education department. This also included a chance for all of the students to learn about how laws are made and joined in a debate.

We managed to get tickets to get in to Downing Street and we were able to take photos outside both Number 10 and Number 11 Downing Street. We also went on to Horse Guards parade and watched some extremely well trained horses and riders change guard.

The final part of our trip was a quick stop at the UK Supreme Court.

The students behaved perfectly throughout the day, of course, and were wonderful ambassadors for Clyst Vale Community College.
