CV&CC Update Extra: Self Isolation Period Shortened to 10 days
Dear Parents/Carers,
The self-isolation period has been cut from 14 days from the date of symptoms to 10 days. The link to the Gov.UK site is as follows:
This means that if your child is currently isolating because of a positive test result, and Day Ten is on or before Sunday 13th December, they are allowed to come back to College on Monday.
I have no idea why the government keep sending out these important messages last thing on a Friday when it is very difficult for parents to make contact with schools to check ! It also strikes me that this decision may make some families more anxious about sending their children in next week. Please see my comments in today’s Newsletter.
