U15 Rugby Girls Win Area Festival with Clean Sweep of Victories

The U15 girls took their first step to the National Finals with a perfect six from six record of wins in the area festival at St Peter’s on Friday. The girls were excellent and grew in stature and skill throughout the day in atrocious conditions. Perfect handling skills, hard running and tackling were the key, with all 16 players playing their part. Wins over Okehampton, Exmouth, QECC, Tiverton, Uffculme and Cullompton made it the grand-slam for the girls. The top three schools have qualified for the Devon finals at Exeter University on Thursday 22 March – watch this space!!
