Washington Trip Success

Clyst Vale students were superb ambassadors for the College on our October half term trip to Washington DC. We flew to DC on Tuesday 25th October and were able to visit the Pentagon and Arlington Cemetery. We also had a wonderful guided tour of Capitol Hill, involving sitting in the public gallery of the House of Representatives and the Senate. We also walked to the Lincoln and Washington Monuments.

The weather was kind to us and we had a great trip.

The students involved were:

Oli Andrews, Laura Beedell, Reuben Gibson, Jodie Hall, Ishbel Mackenzie, Olly Oakford, Holly O’Hara, Janey Orchard, Oli Pook, Jordan Rodgers Sophie Shepperd, Caitlin Tyrrell, Laura Westaway, Adeline Wild, and Dylan Winter.

My thanks to all of them for their excellent behaviour and to Mr and Mrs O’Brien for joining me in running the trip.
