Annual Awards Reprised
I was delighted to present individual shields to our award winners, and congratulate them again on their achievement. The awards taken as whole reflect Clyst Vale’s values very well: an award for achievement and one for progress as you might expect; but also one for caring, another for being a good citizen, and one celebrating music (usually won by a talented musician who also helps others unselfishly).
As students were made to stand in front of the whole College in the last assembly of 2013 -14, this presentation was quieter and less formal. It also enabled me to tell the students involved how proud I am, and thankful for their excellent contributions to Clyst Vale.
