Full House for Bingo!
On Thursday 3 November well over 100 people attended Clyst Vale PTFA’S “meat and chocolate” bingo evening. It was fantastic to see all of the generations from our local community in the Hall, some of whom take their bingo very seriously!
There was a great atmosphere, and we had excellent support for both the raffle and the bingo. Half of the proceeds of the evening are going to support the Year 11 rugby team in a tournament in London, and the team helped out with the evening, running a tuck shop and getting fully involved (it was also lovely to see them concentrating so hard!). Mr Pearce, who coaches the team, bravely acted as joint-caller for the evening despite beginning to lose his voice. Many thanks to the PTFA for their tremendous support in organising a great evening which reaffirms the friendly community and family ethos which people rightly associate with Clyst Vale.
