Ex-student Rachael Parkhouse, after studying at the Inner Temple in London, has passed all of her Bar exams and was called to the Bar on 29th July 2011.  Rachael Parkhouse joined us in Post 16 in 2005. She achieved A grades at A level in Government and Politics and Law. She studied Law at Exeter University and was awarded a 2:1. During her studies she won the “Moot” (Debating competition) twice.

Rachael won a place at The Inner Temple last year to study to become a barrister. She had to take 16 written exams at the end of the course. In all of these exams she was awarded the grade “very competent”. Lord Justice Keene was the Judge who introduced her at the ceremony. She is currently working for a Law firm in Exeter and has recently managed to obtain a pupillage at Southernhay Chambers in Exeter! There are only around 400 pupillages in the country. She will work under the supervision of a barrister for a year and will then be fully qualified.
